In addition to building and flying R/C  airplanes, I like to restore old cars.  This is my  last  project, I bought it in 1986, completed to restoration in '88.    I did all the mechanical work and the interior replacement, the painting was done by a professional.  These photos  were taken in may 2000, since then I had a complete paint job and replaced much of the chrome work.  It is restored to the original condition other than the two 6 volt batteries were replaced with a 12 volt battery.  I still use the original top that came with the car.  It has 73269 original miles.  We like drive it on warm  evenings and in Shriners Parades.
